How to Find the Right Office Furniture Retailer-III

March 30th, 2007

Here are a few important know-how’s when it comes to choosing the right office furniture retailers:

-Do they offer white glove delivery?

White glove delivery means that they deliver to and inside your house and perform light assembly and garbage removal. This level of service basically depends on your arrangement. The retailer that offers white glove delivery is geared more towards your satisfaction, making the whole experience beneficial to both you and the retailer. If a company does not, it may not be much, but it also tells you a little something about that company.

-Are they GSA-approved?

Make sure that your retailer is GSA-approved, or has been affirmed by other government bodies similar to that of the GSA. This program requires a high level of review and performance, meaning that a company that goes through its approval means that the company can satisfactorily meet all your demands as a consumer. Not only that, but having the approval of the GSA also means that your chosen retailer is good enough to exceed or meet the highest standards of service and product.

-Do they have a wide range of products?

The retailer that offers only a few pieces of products is less likely to offer you with a high level of consistent service. Maybe you can get good deals with them for one time but then the quality may come in to be doubtful. What is more, is that this reflects the security that you will get upon purchasing your office furniture. What if the product is not shipped, or comes in damaged? What will you get in return? Make sure that your retailer is flexible enough, or even big enough to really give you all that you need.

-Do they give out information regarding office furnitures in general?

Any retailer, online or not, should have a good say about the line of product that they are trying to sell. They should be able to give out pertinent information, even suggestions about the office furnitures to the clients. While there may be no direct effect by doing this, it gives you, the customer an edge in deciding to go for the retailer that does. Efforts do not go unnoticed, so make sure that your retailer is going all-out for you.
